Peodora
[edit]A wonderful piano piece called "Peodora" is credited to Carel Struycken during the closing credits of The Witches of Eastwick (1987).
- Carel is a good composer, it is however very difficult to source that material. Carel composed that piece especially for the movie, I actually believe (but I have not seen the film for a long time) that his character (Fidel) plays it at some point. It is not included on the soundtrack of the film
- He plays it during the epilogue, on the children's piano in the nursery. Lovely piece! 81.158.63.216 (talk) 22:16, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
- I have met Carel several times. He is a very nice man although he is very tall (and I am 6'5"). He is also very talented. It is a pity that his work does not always gets the recognition it deserves.
- His brother Peter is also a very good artist, his work was exhibited in the Groninger Museum in 2007[1]
- Although the interviews are in Dutch, a good example of Peter's works can be seen here. --JHvW (talk) 12:10, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
